Actually, any melee character can make use of the cold merc for safety. Amazons have their choice of valk or decoy, and a glacial-spike-spamming mercenary would make things much safer for a character without block.
I think a cold merc could work well for a spear-wielding zon, using physical/lightning skills. The druid has a re-castable tank in the the bear, so he could get by without the tank mercenary. The others can definitely find their place, though.Īn elemental druid (I was originally thinking fire, but wind/cold could work too) would go nicely with a lightning merc. Just note that the fire act 3 merc is pretty useless due to the broken inferno skill. Any character that could make use of a different source of (elemental) damage.
